    UNIX vs. Windows Documentation Difference

    damien

Does anyone know what the differences are between the Windows and UNIX documentation (v3.2.1 Admin & Devl Guide)?

I do most development on Windows, and most deployments on UNIX. With that in mind, I am going to purchase one of the 3.2.1 guides as soon as I figure out which one I want.

      Thanks,

There is no difference in the content. You are supposed to be able to download the windows version using an exe installer and the unix version just as an archive, but currently they only make the windows installer available for both. You need to email support@componentsource.com to obtain a unix download link.

ComponentSource has added a "Unix Edition" to all JBoss documentation in the JBoss store.

If you select the Unix Edition when purchasing JBoss documentation, you will not be required to download a Windows executable file as part of the download. You will be able to directly download the documentation .ZIP file.
