Duplicate Id for a component _viewRoot:status

RichFaces users and developers.

Does anybody know if is possible to use a4j:status more than once in the same form ?

When I try to use it, this error occurs: duplicate Id for a component _viewRoot:status

use forceId="true" and of course give it an id.

it won't currently work inside any iterative component (maybe in CVS?). If using a dataTable I tend to put it in the header facet for the column where the link is.

as it was designed - it should be only one status inside every region. So split your view to regions and use separaet status components.
