1. Re: What are these jbossas jars used for?
clebert.suconic May 2, 2006 5:09 PM (in response to starksm64)This is out of topic here, but since you're talking about thirdparties, this is kind of related.
I'm using these jars on jboss-serialization for testcases.
I'm creating MarshalledInvocations and serializing then with JBossSerialization, to make sure serialization works.
I also have the same thing for AOPProxies. I'm testing AOPProxies serialization, and I need to make sure AOpProxies can be serialized with JbossSerialization.
The reason I didn't migrate to thirdparty dependencies like we do in JBAS builds is because I didn't have these jars in the repository.
As soon as we have that, I will migrate to the repository usage. -

ben.wang May 2, 2006 10:16 PM (in response to starksm64)Those jboss jars are actually used sporadically like MBeanServoceSupport, PropertyEditor, NestedRuntimeException, etc. I think we should be able to use only jboss-system.jar. Maybe this is a good time to do it in 2.0 release as well.
