Can't create tag handler

I just installed Eclipse 3.1, JBoss IDE 1.4.1e31 (running jre 1.4) and when I try to create a new JSP Tag Handler I get the error message: "An error has occured. See error log for more details". Any help is appreciated. If someone can point me to the location of the error log, that would be helpful too.
