maxandersen Oct 26, 2007 7:36 AM (in response to b_bpradeep)eh - it is done per default by our adapter so nothing needed to set it up.

6. Re: how to configure for hot deployment of JSP files
amitev Oct 30, 2007 5:05 AM (in response to b_bpradeep)WTP supports incremental deploy ot jsp files. When you edit the jsp and press the "save" button wtp redeploys only this jsp file, so when you refresh the page you'll see the change. There might be a possible problems with the browser's cache.

8. Re: how to configure for hot deployment of JSP files
rob.stryker Oct 30, 2007 10:51 AM (in response to b_bpradeep)The WTP framework supports incremental deployment, but often times the other server adapters do not.
In most cases, the WTP-provided tools repackage the entire project.
There is nothing we can do to help expedite Tomcat incremental deployment. -

10. Re: how to configure for hot deployment of JSP files
amitev Oct 30, 2007 12:16 PM (in response to b_bpradeep)WTP performs incremental deployment only for pages and static resources, for everything else (config files, class files) eclipse restarts the app.

rob.stryker Oct 30, 2007 12:24 PM (in response to b_bpradeep)amitev:
That depends entirely on the adapter. The WTP-provided JBoss adapter *never* incrementally deploys, preferring to repackage the app entirely every time. -

krasig Oct 30, 2007 12:48 PM (in response to b_bpradeep)This is not true. I have 3 installation of Eclipse Europa, + my team with such version. Every time when save any XHTML -> restart of application.
