    The second JBoss User Group (JBUG) Scotland event will be held on Wednesday 8th May. The event is free to attend and will bring together a group of people with a common interest in Enterprise Java Middleware and JBoss software.

    17:15 - Speaker, Mark Little (VP Engineering, Red Hat) will discuss the following:
    Red Hat Platform Strategy including Deep Dives on EAP, EWS, JON & OpenShift.

    18:15 - Q&A discussion session with Mark

    18:45 – Intro to Lightning Sessions (quick presentations/discussions on specific topics of interest)

    1st Lightning Session – Martin Ellis (Contemplate LTD)
    An introduction to ThreadSafe: a static analysis product for finding concurrency bugs in multi-threaded Java programs.

    "ThreadSafe is a static analysis product for finding concurrency bugs in multi-threaded Java programs. Such bugs can be difficult to find using conventional testing methods. They may occur randomly due to non-deterministic scheduling behaviour, and can be hard to replicate. ThreadSafe analyses can be from within the Eclipse IDE, and/or in conjunction with the Sonar quality dashboard."
