Why should I use vi

Vi is included in most real operating systems.  It is an editor for only real geeks.  Modern versions have support for everything from syntax coloring to spell checking.  Even the most archane versions have buffer support, and regular expression support.

Vi is all you need and nothing you don't!

Why not Vi?

The problem with geeks is they don't let old software die. Let Vi rest in peace, and stop your perverse acts on its mangled body. Vi deserves dignity.
