    Rendering new or existing JSF applications on mobile devices can be a grueling development task. The RichFaces project has paved this cow path with the latest 4.1.0 release and showcases it's capabilities in the RichFaces Mobile Showcase.

     

    The RichFaces Mobile Showcase:

    • Is built for WebKit based devices which currently hold 75% of mobile browser market share (tested on iOS and Android).
    • Uses JSF2 at it's core and adds improvements for rendering JSF projects on mobile browsers.
    • Gives a backwards compatible approach for existing RichFaces projects
    • Provides a small JavaScript and CSS library for mobile transitions, AJAX, and back button support
