4.4.1 Background

It is often the case that, rather than creating a new Service, an Architect can “compose” multiple existing Services into a new asset called a Composition.  Scenario 1.2 above mentions this capability when it describes how Arlen composes two existing email Services into a University Email Composition.  This scenario explores the details of how the Architect might create such a Composition.
