Question about setting classpath to .jar files

Some jar files are repeated in different directories, for instance, jboss-j2ee.jar, log4j.jar & jnet.jar exist in both jboss_dist\client and jboss_dist\server\default\lib. Are they the same? And to set the classpath to, which ones are prior?
By the way, I tried to set classpath to the .jar's in either directory, both works. And jboss_dist\client\jboss-common-client.jar and jboss_dist\server\default\lib\jboss-common seem the same.
Could anyone knows this please answer? Thanks.

Yes, they are the same.

You don't need all the classes on the client,
hence the client directory.

jboss-common might be the same at the moment on
the client/server, but this could change in the future.
