Thanks for your reply. But I could not understand the real problem and solution what they have discussed in that thread. Moreover I did not remove any attribute of servletcontext. Can you help me to understand the root cause and solution for this issue ?

I see this problem is many posts without a concrete solution.
The strange thing is in my case, it was working before. I closed the project in eclipse for a few days and re-opened it yesterday. It is giving me this error.
I dont have any .xml configured. Neither do I have any servlets running.
I am using Apache Tomcat v7.0 in Eclipse Helios.
