If's on JBoss most likely adding them to users.properties and roles.properties in JBOSS_HOME/standalone/configuration should fix the issue.

swiderski.maciej Dec 5, 2013 1:22 AM (in response to faraon79)JBPMHelper uses property files for user ang roles mapping. By default it loads usergroups.properties file from root of the class path. Although it can be configured in two ways:
- set location of the property file using taskservice.usergroupmapping key in jbpm.properties file if used
- set system property jbpm.user.group.mapping with location of the property file
location can be either valid url or classpath resource. For classpath resource the location needs to be prefixed with classpath:
