Recently we discover that we actually drop the support for JDK 1.4. We use compiler for 1.5 and some of CDK peaces  actually depends on it. However, we see many questions about 1.4. The last thing that we want to do is to stick forever to old JDK. However, we can try to keep it alive for some time if many people need it.
