rich:calendar and dataModel not working with JBoss Seam

I am using RichFaces 3.1.3 GA and I am using JBoss Seam 2.0. GA . I am having problems getting the rich:calendar with the dataModel attribute to work . Even though I pass the dataModel attribute it becomes null and hence does not call the getData method .

I find the examples given in calendar-sample working in tomcat . But the same does not work with jboss seam . Any help would be appreciated

I don't know if this will fix your problem too, but you may want to look at the thread: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=132914

It allows me now to use a rich:calendar to cause refreshes in a separate rich:dataTable.
