My application based on JBoss 3.2.x, recently I need expose some interface as web service. I notice JBoss has two WS implementation one is .Net the other is WS. I check the wiki it just say .Net (on JBoss 3.X) enter maintenace and no further development and WS (on JBoss 4.X)is current active one.
My question is can I deploy JBossWS based web service application under JBoss 3.2.X (3.2.7) so I can migrate to JBoss 4 later with least migration effort. I don't see wiki mention that.
Thanks and Regards
No, JBossWS is an implementation of J2EE 1.4 Web Services, which requires a J2EE 1.4 application server. JBoss 3.2.x is J2EE 1.3.
