JBoss WS and JBoss remtoing question

Good day all,
My organization is considering using of JBoss remoting.
We will have a jboss remoting client that will address a jboss remoting server component.
What will we need to do in order to provide this server component a web services interface? we understand that in the future, JBossWS will be implemented using JBoss remoting. Will the shift from JBoss remoting client to JBoss WS wil be transparent? And what aobut the current available JBoss version? (We're using 4.04 RC 1, and moving to 4.04 RC 2)

Currently JBossWS clients rely on remoting whereas the serverside still uses tomcat. It's planned that future versions will solely run on remoting.

What are you actually trying to do? Shouldn't the transport be transparent to your business logic?
