how does one do image region mapping in rich faces

Hi,

I have a project where when the user clicks on portion of the image (as determined by the area tag for an image map) and the app needs to

1. Hilight the region
2. Trigger a server side event the when the user clicks on the region and identify the region clicked

Can this be done? in rich faces or indeed with just straight jsf and seam?

Can this be achieved using the mediaOutput richfaces tag? I notice it has a usemap and ismap attributes, are these related to mapping image areas and determining what region was clicked?

If so are there any examples? (either online or in the documentation? - I couldn't find any)
