1. Re: Where can I find documentation for JBoss
marc.fleury Dec 7, 2001 1:09 PM (in response to marc.fleury)JBoss encourages the developers of new features to write documentation and sell them for a small fee. This way you always get the latest documentation, in a professional format directly from the developer of the feature you are interested in. It is also broken down so if you are not interested in a feature you are not penalized. For example it is really easy to buy the base documentation with coverage of all the JBoss major modules and buy the addition cmp 2. 0 documentation from Dain (the developer) if you really want to use that feature.
The prices are always reasonable and are more in the token category than a serious "expense".
It is a way to support the developer of the feature in his work as well as give him an incentive to give you professional grade documentation, and it is our solution for the age old problem of Open Source and documentation. -
