You have to create a .par file and put your entity beans. You also have to create a META-INF directory and put persistence.xml in it.
Does pu-mysql-ds.xml only contain this datasources tag. Where are you putting it? in the .ejb3 file?
Thanks a lot for your response.
I install the pu-mysql-ds.xml in the
"/server/all/deploy" directory. The .ejb3 file is installed in the same directory as well.
For some reason i thought Jboss does not support .par files YET and I chose to put them in the .ejb3 as Jboss supports this extension.
Also the total listing of the pu-mysql-ds.xml file is listed above. (with the tag). I hope I have answered ur questions.
Also the pu-mysql-ds.xml is a seperate file installed in the above mentioned directory. pu-services.ejb3 file contains the persistence.xml in a meta-inf directory.
.ejb3 and .par is supported for persistence deployments...
FYI, .pars are going away in next final spec draft.
.pars will be just plain jars with a persistence.xml in them. These persistence packaged jars can be put anywhere: EAR/lib WEB-INF/lib for example.
Also, you will be allowed to have a persistence.xml in an EJB jar's META-INF.
Proposed final draft should be sometime in November.
