Pagination total page count

I may be missing something simple but I've implemented pagination for ejb3 as per a number of examples but nobody seems to have a solution for how to get the total number of pages/rowcount from the query. It seems pretty simple via Hibernate. Does anyone have an EJB3 solution?

Yes that's what I currently do. I perhaps should have specified that I was looking for a little more of an elegant solution like some of the pagination examples using the hibernate scrollableResultset. Never mind, I'll just do it in two queries.

OK, you'll have to fall back to Hibernate API to use a scrollable resultset
