I declare my jar as a java jar in the application.xml not an ejb one:
<module> <java>myjar-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar</java> </module>
If tou use JbossMQ, queue should be created when MDB is deployed (if you have another JMS implementation you will have an exception see recent thread about ActiveMQ on this forum)
Thanks for the suggestion... i tried changing it but that still does not help... i still can not do a context lookup. It appears that queue is created but the sub queue "queue/mdb" does not appear in the global jndi namespace under queue.
