But where is Embedded EJB3? Again a simple answer: it has been promoted to JBoss 5 Embedded. From the start Embedded EJB3 was actually the usage of JBoss 5 microcontainer technology to run EJB3 itself. Now it can run everything JBoss AS can. More on this soon.
Could anyone comment on when the new embedded EJB3 container might be available? I really could do with this.
The embedded timer services has been disabled because of a bug (http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/EJBTHREE-702). You can re-enable it in embedded-jboss-beans.xml.
You can find info on Embedded JBoss here: http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=EmbeddedJBoss. There is currently no distribition yet, so you'll have to build it from SVN.
