fhh Apr 24, 2007 6:14 AM (in response to grdzeli_kaci)insert into TUser (id, userid, username, userdesc) values (iii, 'useridproc', 'usernameproc', 'userdesc'||iii);
Did I mention somewhere that you should use bind variables?
Your problem is not a Java problem, you should start looking at how databases work.

grigoras_cristinel Apr 24, 2007 7:10 PM (in response to grdzeli_kaci)Oracle will suport java stored procedures
So you can preserve logic in java and get maxim from database -

is it useful that sql insert i have oracle than java ???
you think that stored procedure which insert data into table is faster that jdbc sql insert ?

35. Re: 10,000 Recorc Per Second (In EJB 3.0)
fhh May 2, 2007 4:34 PM (in response to grdzeli_kaci)Java within Oracle is faster than JDBC from outside but not much. Fastest is to use pure SQL, second best ist PLSQL, Java is always slower than the other two. YMMV!

Felix
BTW: No matter whether Java or PLSQL - bind variables are the key to performance. -

37. Re: 10,000 Recorc Per Second (In EJB 3.0)
fhh May 7, 2007 11:26 AM (in response to grdzeli_kaci)If you have the choice use PL/SQL. There is nothing to be gained by using java - unless you are using external java libs.

Felix
P.S.: And don't forget to use bind variables.
