Pluggable skin laguna was created as example but it isn't a part of RF library. So you just need to build it from samples folder and bundle too with the application. Or if you use maven add it to your dependencies.

Whether I can find anywhere and use the skin used in the demo - left menu and tabs inside every examle have different and very nice skin.

Ah. OK. It is not a skin at all. The skin can apply only on a whole page, but not to the part of the page.
What you see in the richfaces-demo is an example how you can customize the existing component with pure css regardless what the skin is currently set for the whole page.
