Support for this in the GPD is limited. Work is planned to do a better job. For the moment you have to:
            - create a new process definition using the wizard.
            - replace the generated processdefinition.xml file with yours.
            - close the gpd editor if it is open and reopen it by clicking either on the gpd.xml or on the processdefinition.xml file.
            - all nodes of the graph are in the topleft corner, you will have to lay them out on the canvas manually.
As already said, we could do a better job by using a layout algorithm to lay the nodes on the canvas automatically on a decent position. This is already a JIRA issue.
