1. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
koen.aers Nov 3, 2005 6:33 AM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)Can you specify what version of the GPD and of Eclipse you are using?

2. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
jbaker_softcomms Nov 4, 2005 11:44 AM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)Used the latest downloads of each available 2 days ago.
jBPM 3.0.1 with Ecplise 3.1.1
I have since tried it on a Win XP machine and don't get the same problem as on OS X 10.4.2.
I noticed that the default Java used on each was different (1.5 on the Windows machine and 1.4 on the Mac). I just notcied that Apple have released a new update to java 1.5 and a new OS patch 10.4.3 so will see soon if the problem disappears. I will post again when I get the chance to check this. -
3. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
koen.aers Nov 4, 2005 12:02 PM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)The latest download was 3.0.2 AFAIK. Anyway, I think your problem is indeed due to the XP/OS X differences. They should be resolved by now. Try the latest (3.0.4) release.

4. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
jbaker_softcomms Nov 4, 2005 12:07 PM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)It seems to be quite random whether the library appears on not.
I reinstalled eclipse and jBMP after updating OS to 10.4.3 and java to 1.5. However, switch the jvm between 1.4 and 1.5 doesn't seem to help.
Now the library does appear sometimes after creating new process project but it still complains about not being able to resolve classes and cannot build project.
The process designer does seem to work this time. -
5. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
jbaker_softcomms Nov 4, 2005 12:10 PM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)OK. I was using the latest starters kit and assumed that would include the latest jBPM designer. Will try the new one..

6. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
jbaker_softcomms Nov 4, 2005 12:17 PM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)Unfortunately, it still does the same with 3.0.4.
Cannot resolve the org.jbpm classes.. So won't let me build or run the JUNIT test class example..
Have you definitely seen this work on any version of eclipse on OS X? I could try downgrading my eclipse? -
7. Re: Project Wizard in Eclipse - Result different from docume
koen.aers Nov 4, 2005 1:02 PM (in response to jbaker_softcomms)This is strange. It would indeed be good if anyone else running OS X could verify this.
Anyway, you can probably work your way around this issue by configuring the default core jBPM location as documented in : http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v3/gpd/quickhowto.html#d0e497.
