calendar keeps previous value when posting invalid date

Hi,

I am using jboss seam 2.0.2SP1 and found the following problem using rich:calendar:

a) Enter a valid date (eg 01/02/2008) and submit the form. Posted value is redisplayed as expected. OK.
b) Change the value to invalid date (eg xyz) and submit the form. Validation works fine but instead of displaying xyz in textbox 01/02/2008 comes up.
