new JPDL designer feature : forms generation

I installed the new jPDL designer (release of the 20th october) from sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=70542 ) and for tasks we can have a xhtml file generated. In the deployment tab it belongs with other process artifacts.

This file is used by the jBPM console webapp or it's just a page to help for web interface developpement ?

Hi!,

I am trying to develop a web application usign Jbpm. But I little lost about how generate radio buttons and drop-down list with the new forms generation.
Any advice about that?

- used by the webapp
- can be used to help webinterface development
- radiobuttons: adapt the forms with jsf radiobuttons

Thanks for yor answer. But when I deploy the process defintion with a task (including the forms.xml file and the task1.xhtml file) on the jbpm console and I start a new instance, the form UI for the task is the default one. There's another setting to change ?

ok I use the webapp of the 3.1.3 version, I've assumed that since this jpdl designer version was released one day after the 3.1.3 it's was this version that I sould use. Thanks for your help !

hmmm... I did not know the current gpd has form generation functionality. I thought it was only just in cvs. Good to know
