    IE 8 beta

      Hi all,

I've been evaluating RichFaces for a project and decided to try it out in IE 8. I created a simple page containing a dataTable with sorting and filtering on 2 columns. When I tried to sort or filter, I'd get 2 Javascript errors:
      1. Unexpected call to method or property access.
      2. Type mismatch.

I'm using Richfaces 3.2.0 and I tried the Richfaces 3.2.1 demo web app with the same results.

Now, I realize IE 8 is still in beta, so it's could be an IE 8 bug, but I thought I'd ask the experts (you guys) first :) Has anyone had the same experience? Is this a bug in IE 8 beta or could it become a bug in RichFaces (if IE 8's behavior is not changed)?

The funny thing is in IE 8 you can emulate IE 7 - when I do that everything works great :)

      Glen
