    New Player in JBPM Pool

    iku

      Hi all,

I am in R&D for workflow in our currently project. Based on investigation, I probably will use jBPM as our workflow application.

      Here is my questions below:
      1. If I use jBPM-jBPL, do I have to use JSF or jBoss seam for user interface, or I can also use JSP?
      2. Is it possible to display jobs/tasks list on our web application?
      3. Is it possible to allow users to reassign a job/task to another user in the same group?
      4. How to invoke/initiate a job/task(start job/task) from other web application?

I really appreciate if someone can tell me where is the start point.

      Many Thanks,

          1: no, yes
          2: yes
          3: yes
          4: by using the api

startpoint: reading docs (e.g. getting started), looking at examples, searching the forum, wiki, e.g. with google etc..

On a more serious note, you should do a little more R (and then D) before asking these basic questions. You see you get basic answers then. But interestingly, without this info you already made a choice although they are fundamental issues

          btw, it is jBPM-JPDL

Thank you Ronald for your reply.

Actually i did take a look of docs and this forums, and I guessed most of answer should be yes. But just be sure as 100% before hands on.

            Thanks again,

then say so in advance.... ;-)... something like

From reading the docs and searching the forum, I conclude that:
              - I can do sdfgsd
              - jBPM provides yuioy
              - It is possible to mbnv
              - I have to do efgjher

              Is this correct?
