- Manual re-execution? Sure, you can print the graphical representation and follow it manually, although I don't think that is what you mean ;-) Please clarify a little, we are not clairvoyant. -

In a workflow i reach a process step and from there i make a webservice call get the response and use that response as input for next process.
Is this possible? -

If call the webservice with a java class, then yes.

Yes, this is possible, but jBPM does not have a webservice node in it's palet. You can easily generate the stubs with every ws framework you want to use and use that as a custom action.
This might (will) change in the future though since jBPM is also working on a BPMN2 compliant engine and that requires calling ws by configuring the endpoint, incoming and outgoing message like in bpel. In fact, you could make a custom node in jBPM4 that does effectively this. -

Multiple ways... java classes added to the 'custom' node, realy customizing the language by implementing your own node types (see the pvm documentation and the jpdl source), use actionhandlers on nodes etc....
