process simulation without server

Hi all,

workflow can be tested using junit testcase with static feeds. By fetching the process definition in junit testcase we will be able to test the whole flow.

Just need a confirmation tht whether it requires the server should also be running or not?

as far as I have tested, no need of a server to run the junits

No, but testing is something different than full simulation.

jBPM 3 has a nice (community contributed) simulation solution which unfortunately is not ported to jBPM 4 yet.
