kukeltje Dec 10, 2009 1:26 PM (in response to matt.d.tucker)jBPM 4 core libraries run on JBoss 4.3. Not sure about the webconsole. Not saying it doesn't, but also not that it does. Just don't know.

matt.d.tucker Dec 10, 2009 2:37 PM (in response to matt.d.tucker)OK thank you for the replies. I think if the core jBPM 4 libraries play nicely with JBoss 4 libs, that is all we need.
Thanks!

4. Re: Does jBPM 4 Require JBoss 5?
deady Dec 25, 2009 4:41 AM (in response to matt.d.tucker)jbpm4 uses log4j.Logger.trace() method with it's own logger loader (which sucks). That loader loads Logger class instance from /jboss/lib/log4j-boot.jar in jboss-4.0.4.GA, which contains older version of log4j (with no trace method) - so you'll get NoSuchMethodException.
You can substitute this jar with the same from jboss-4.2.3.GA to resolve this issue

Thanks for reporting. You are always welcome to make a wiki page on how to use jBPM4 with JBoss AS 4.0.x. Glad to know it works.
Cheers,
