    jbpm jboss integration

    Tom Baeyens Master

to test bpel as part of the overall jboss test suite, we must supply a way to deploy jbpm on jboss in the test suite.

      this thread discusses it: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3926584#3926584

and here's the jira task: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBPM-541

alex, now, it seems as if you can follow these steps that they are working out and then you'll be able to add bpel into the test suite build.

what are the things that you will need from jbpm ? jbpm.jar and jbpm-identity.jar (version 3.1) are already in the jboss repository. anything else you need ?

      regards, tom.

bpel depends only on jbpm.jar, so nothing else is needed. I added a comment to issue 541 about sharing a single jbossas configuration or creating two separate configurations.

Sharing a single configuration is relevant only if we want to ensure jbpm and bpel services can run side-by-side in the same appserver instance. AFAIR, none of our users/customers does this (they use either jBPM or BPEL, but not both). Do we want to cover this case?

Yes. We should go for running jBPM BPEL and jBPM jPDL side by side.

I think it is not a problem. So we should be able to do it.

If it turns out to be a big problem, we know that we cannot claim support for it and we will revert to two separate installations.
