    richfaces tab panel z-index

I have a rich faces tab panel, a rich faces data table (inside a tab), and several tomahawk popups in the data table. The nesting structure is the following:

tab panel -> tab -> data table -> tomahawk popup.

There are a lot of components involved here, but when I rendered a sample tomahawk popup above the RichFaces tab, only the pixels above the tab panel were rendered. In internet explorer 7, the popup (one in each row of the data table) is rendered behind the tab panel and is therefore invisible. In Firefox, the popup is rendered above the tab panel.

Is there any way to render the rich faces tab panel in the background?
