One way you can tell your bean how it should be placed into the JNDI Tree is with annotations
//Bind the remote interface under "EJBTEST/NatPerLstBean/remote" into the //JNDI Tree @RemoteBinding( jndiBinding="EJBTEST/ThisIsYourtBean/remote") @LocalBinding( jndiBinding="comp/env/EJBTEST/ThisIsYourtBean/local")
you should also be able to do this in the corresponding xml file.
