There is a taglib for that if you want to create a URL from your JSP:
The 2 tags you want to look at are:
Make sure you declare that you will use the taglib:<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/portlet" prefix="portlet" %>
Then you will want to look at those tags:<portlet:actionURL> <portlet:renderURL>

calls the same method inside the portlet? Which method they call? Sorry but i'm very new to Portals and Portlet, if there is any documentation around i'll be happy to read it..:) -
