    New User, HTTP Status 404, please Help!!!

      Hello everyone,

      I just downloaded JBOSS AS 4.0.3. and JBOSS Portal 2.2.1, I use Win XP SP2.
      I strictly followed the instructions of the manuals / User-Guides of both apps.
      I really followed step by step. I did it two times, but it doesn't work!

      In the User-Guide it says: Using your browser, navigate to http://localhost:8080/portal and you should see the portal

      But I only get following error:

      HTTP Status 404 -

      type Status report


      description The requested resource () is not available.
      Apache Tomcat/5.5

      I don't know what to do, because under localhost:8080/ I can reach all stuff of the application server, it works fine......I searched this forum for the problem, but I can't find something.
      It would be great, if someone could help me, I'm helpless and I need this stuff for studies....

          Now I try the following installation:
          and jboss-portal-2.4.0-ALPHA
          and did it like it's described in the manual!
          And now I get following error when trying to access: http://localhost:8080/portal/

          HTTP Status 500 -


          type Exception report


          description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.


          java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot invoke with a null interceptor[]

          note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache Tomcat/5.5.17 logs.

          Please, can someone help me?!? Or where can I get help???? Please!!!
