Jboss portal version: jboss-portal-2.4.0 (downloaded bundle that comes with jboss AS )
Running on WindowsXP OS
The dependencies are becoming a nightmare, we are improving on that.
Did you try with the latest JEMS installer ? Using JBoss 4.0.5, that's the version you should use for Seam 1.1 (ejb3 configuration).
Then try to install Portal on this configuration if you get errors, please give them here.
I didnt try that yet... I'll do so, ty!
Ok. I downloaded the JEMS installer, deployed seam app, and the portal sar with the regarding ds (binary download) and it seems to work nicely =) Thankyou very much
Cool, thanks for the feedback !
excuse me but i have not understand some steps.
I have :
JBoss AS : jboss-4.0.5.GA
JBoss Seam : jboss-seam-1.1.0.GA
I want to add JBoss Portal to this installation but i have not understand how can i install it and integrate it.
One JBoss AS for Seam+Portal, is it possible?
First U have to create an empty database, for example jbossportal
Configure your datasource more or less like this (depending on the db u r using, in this case im using mysql)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
- Copy the data source to your Jboss AS deploy folder
- Copy the jboss-portal.sar to your Jboss AS deploy folder
(the jboss-portal.sar Im using is the one included in the jboss-portal-2.4.0.zip)
Thank you very much!!!!!
