commands to change regions

In 2.6 there are commands (actions) that can be used to change region. The point is that it is not documented so it is hard to tell if this is going to stay or move out in a later release. Changing region and position for a window is a nice feature. What is the status on this?

It is not documented *because* it is part of the internal API and subject to changes.
