I am trying to figure out what library I need to include in my Netbeans project so that it does not complain about the portal taglib.

<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/portlet" prefix="portlet"%>

The error I get is:

The absolute URI: http://java.sun.com/portlet cannot be resolved in either the web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need portlet.tld.

Is this in the jPortal download? If not where do you get it. If it is not in the jPortal package what is it a part of?

Searching jportal 2.6.2 I was unable to find the portlet.tld file. Doesn't this file need to exist in the portal to support the portal tags?

The file is in portal-portlet-lib.jar. This jar should be in the jboss-portal.sar
