Manually configure remote portlets

I have been able to manually configure (through XML) the JBoss servers as producer and consumer.

However I am not being able to manually configure a portlet instance that uses a remote portlet. The instructions provided on manuals are only to use the admin interface.

Is it possible to configure the portlet instance through XML?

Sorry, it's not currently possible to configure a portlet instance via XML. Please open a feature request in JIRA if this is important to you. Thanks.
