Default Blog Portlet Behavior

Adam,

We should make the default behavior of the blog portlet so that blog entrie's full text is displayed by default for the last x entries (configurable via a portlet parameter in it's xml file).

The blog will be our primary information announcement mechanism on landing, so we really need the text displayed by default. As it is now, each blog entry only shows the title without the text whenever you hit the http://forge.sicore.org:8080/portal site.

Done. I also added navigation to the next/ previous set of entries when there are too many of them.

Hello,
it depends on what you want to do. If you are only looking for a portlet to display a feed, I'd recommend the JBossNews portlet from PortletSwap (http://labs.jboss.com/portal/portletswap/downloads/portlets/miscellaneous). The Labs Blog portlet works in a similar way, only is customized for our needs.
A real Blog portlet (with an admin UI and a store) is in final stages of development.
