Boy, was I excited when I saw this. Unfortunately ther jar files can't be opened, at least in WinZip under XP.
the "feature" jar files all yield "the archive may be corrupted".
the "plugin" jar files all yield "can't open the manifest".
I assume the "feature" files have some minimal documentation, while the "plugin" files should be exploded into the eclipse plugin directory. Will the latter install correctly even if WinZip can't open them?
Thanks,

rincewind23 May 29, 2006 11:46 AM (in response to rincewind23)Did you try installing it through the Workbench? Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install?

djhill May 29, 2006 12:19 PM (in response to rincewind23)I was looking for docs first. jar was able to list the contents, though, so I'll install the last version. I wonder why WinZip couldn't open them?

djhill May 29, 2006 6:31 PM (in response to rincewind23)KEv,
I created a project with an initial portlet in eclipse. When I right-click the project, one of the context menu selections is "Add a new portlet to this application", but when I select that nothing happens.
Is this capability in progress?
Also, in your demo it looked like you double-clicked build.xml to deploy the portlet. When I do that it opens for build.xml for editing, so I'm guessing you have some other plugins installed.
In any case, I ran build.xml as an ant project, then copied the war to the deploy folder and refreshed my browser... and there it was! Still have issues to resolve of course, like getting resources (images) referenced correctly.
Thanks!
