windows client

Hello, I am newbie in JBoss community. I have two questions:
How can I send message from Windows Xp client?
Does exist any clienet program for sneding a massage to broker?
If I undersandt it wel the broker function is running on JBoss Application Server. Is it correct?

JBoss Messaging jms client will work from Windows XP as long as you have JDK1.4 or 1.5 installed.

The broker can run on JBoss AS, or standalone (which is a slimmed down version of JBoss)
