Please can you describe what you are doing in more detail?
Note that Redelivery delay is RE-delivery delay, not delivery delay.
I.e. the intention is not to delay the first delivery of the message, but to delay any subsequent deliveries that may occur after rollback.
If you want to delay the *first* delivery you can do a scheduled delivery as described in: http://labs.jboss.com/file-access/default/members/jbossmessaging/freezone/docs/userguide-1.4.0.GA/html/configuration.html#conf.destination.queue.attributes.scheduledmessagecount -
2. Re: RedeliveryDelay is not honoured
mskonda Oct 10, 2007 5:05 AM (in response to mskonda)Tim, I am looking for *RedeliveryDelay* to introduce a time gap before redelivery of the failed delivery - usually after a rollback set in MDB due to an exception.
My messaging-service.xml has this attribute set as<attribute name="DefaultRedeliveryDelay">10000</attribute>
I tried to set the redelivery delay on individual destination as well, but no success:<attribute name="RedeliveryDelay">500000</attribute>
Thanks
