1. Re: org.jboss.resource.adapter.mail cannot be solved
clebert.suconic May 20, 2008 1:10 PM (in response to rogerwbmd)Well.. we just don't know much about Java Mail on this Forum.
I mean.. I could learn of course.. but this forum is about JMS (Java Messaging Systems) not Java Mail Systems. -
2. Re: org.jboss.resource.adapter.mail cannot be solved
clebert.suconic May 20, 2008 1:12 PM (in response to rogerwbmd)Just a tip I aways do when I'm looking for any class on a directory:
find . -name \*jar -exec unzip -l {} \; > list.txt
You can then find the JAR missing with this. -
3. Re: org.jboss.resource.adapter.mail cannot be solved
rogerwbmd May 21, 2008 10:29 AM (in response to rogerwbmd)I created a tkt to jboss and was told "You need to have the mail-ra.jar which is part of the mail-ra.rar in the classpath , mail-ra.rar can be found
at the following location $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy."
I extracted the jar file and put it in $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/lib and it works. However, if I just extract it in $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy (the same location with the mail-ra.rar) the server will throw exception when trying to deploy it.
Thanks

clebert.suconic May 21, 2008 1:16 PM (in response to rogerwbmd)I created a tkt to jboss and was told "You need to have the mail-ra.jar which is part of the mail-ra.rar in the classpath , mail-ra.rar can be found
As I said before.. this is the JBoss Messaging forum. (not Javamail).
You should ask this question where you opened this ticket. (whatever that means)
