rajeshv7 May 30, 2006 9:23 AM (in response to rajeshv7)Thanks Thomas, using installer worked. I wonder what is the purpose of that zip file that is available in the downloads?

3. Re: Seam 1.0.0.CR3 and JBoss AS 4.0.4.GA - Deployment excep
theute May 30, 2006 9:29 AM (in response to rajeshv7)Because there are still some projects that don't use EJB3 or Seam ;) yes really !
Joke aside, EJB3 will be included in the JBoss 5 package. -

5. Re: Seam 1.0.0.CR3 and JBoss AS 4.0.4.GA - Deployment excep
digua Jun 7, 2006 8:12 AM (in response to rajeshv7)Hi,
There are my problems.
If I only install ejb3 profile, it seems that I cannot get the database installed. If I install default profile, I will get the error like:
org.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: ejb-jar.xml must either obey the right xml schema or define a valid DOCTYPE!
I think the default profile includes the ejb3 profile. Am I right?
Thanks a lot. -

jjarkko Jun 7, 2006 5:03 PM (in response to rajeshv7)I's wondering how to get the best of both: all and ejb3 profiles.. ended up installing all profile first and then ejb3 profile again to the same directory. This was to get JBoss Portal 2.4 beta something to run the Seam Portlet example.
