asynchronous processing, will we get it?

i am new to seam but what i've got is that asynchronous processing is on it's way. Is it right? What I am particulary missing is synchronous commonent execution/call in business process context for jBPM actions for example.
I've seen a feature in JIRA. What are the plans to implement it?

Yes, this is a major roadmap item but I havn't yet committed to any dates on it. Basically I want to get two things really sorted out first:

(1) AJAX + JSF
(2) CRUD app generation
