how to insert chinese charactors in database with import.sql

i want to init databse by import.sql. there is a chinese charactor "?" in import.sql . when initation has been done. but in database, i hava found it changed to "??", how can i use chinese in import.sql

no one answers? help me!
it is important that the import.sql can be supported by non-utf-8 code. i can use javabean to init database for replacing the "hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl". but i don't wanner do that, i feel bad for that. after all, Seam is better than DIY :)

Try to save your import.sql file as UTF-8 and make shure your database schema is set to utf-8 too.

I have nerver used SLQ Server 2000 but i found this article googling.
